CMP Juniors

Our junior program focuses on teaching and practicing the basic principles of rifle marksmanship.
The rules of firearms safety are stressed and continually reinforced. As the juniors skills improve we try to provide equipment, coaching and the opportunity to compete to the best of their abilities.

We practice Tuesday nights in the summer, May through September, from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at our range facility south of Lakeville. (note, due to the gun club meeting on the second Tuesday of the month, shooting that week is on Monday night.)
In the winter months (Dec to May) the juniors shoot Air Rifles from 6:00 to 8:00 PM every Wednesday night at the American Legion Post in Richfield and Small Bore everyother Thursday night December and January at Burnsville Pistol Range.

Junior dues are $30 per year.
Loaner rifles and equipment are available for all junior shooters.

We will be starting our 2007-2008 Air-Rifle program with an orientation meeting Tuesday, October 30, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the downstairs meeting room at American Legion Post 435 at 6501 Portland Ave. S. in Richfield.
