Our Field Day is geared for youth under 14 years old. Older students, adults, family, and friends are also welcome to register. Students do not need to be Post 435 members.

VERY IMPORTANT: This is a ONE DAY Field Day course which is adapted to our available range time, facilities, and Instructor availability at our Gun Range in order to allow sufficient opportunity for firearms handling and techniques for ALL STUDENTS. This Field Day may run longer than other DNR Field Days. We limit class size to allow time for student hands-on learning and encourage all registered students to be ready to participate.

Note that the entire day is required if you choose this program. It begins with a series of review sessions and ends with live fire at the range and multiple real-life field scenarios. There is no option to pass our Field Day for partial day attendance.

Completion of our program for online students will provide successful students with their Firearm Safety Certificate without having to take a future class. You must possess your online course completion voucher from HunterCourse.com in order to register for this program.
